THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. EATON

FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT, WESTERN DISTRICT OF PENNSYLVANIA

Attorney Ambrose represented a member of Local 47 of the Steamfitters and Pipefitters Union of Western Pennsylvania. He had been indicted in the Western District of Pennsylvania for using a chemical bomb (i.e. a 200 pound cylinder of chlorine) in an attempt to murder his union's business manager, his wife, and two children as well.

He allegedly attached the 200 lb. bomb to the house and leaked the chlorine into the house. The case was heavily investigated by the Pittsburgh FBI Field Office. Much evidence was surmounted against him, and he faced a possible sentence of 30 years to life.

After a hard fought trial, Mr. Eaton was acquitted on all counts.
